Acceptable Use

Generating printable word search, mini crossword, word scramble and matching-pairs pages from a topic or a word list, for teaching, learning, family use, community groups and — on the plans that allow it — for material you sell.

• Hateful or harassing content. No slurs, no content targeting people by race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. Our word filter removes known slurs automatically, and it is not a loophole that something slipped past it.
• Sexual content, or anything sexualising minors. Absolutely prohibited, and reported where the law requires it.
• Content that targets a private individual — pages built to mock, expose or intimidate someone.
• Violent extremism, or instructions for harm — including weapons, explosives or drug manufacture.
• Passing off official documents. Gridwyn is not for producing certificates, identity documents, invoices, receipts, contracts or medical paperwork, and we do not offer templates for them.
• Infringing someone else's rights — copying a published crossword, reproducing a protected word list, or using trade marks and brand names as if you owned them.
• Illegal, regulated or high-risk commerce — gambling, adult services, unlicensed pharmaceuticals, weapons, financial or medical advice presented as professional guidance.
• Misusing the service itself — automated scraping, bulk sign-ups, reselling access, attempting to break the site, or using stolen payment details.

• Word lists are filtered for slurs and explicit terms before a grid is built, and the app tells you what it removed.
• Grids and answer keys are generated by our own code and checked automatically. A model never draws a grid.
• Gridwyn does not reproduce puzzles published elsewhere. Every grid is built from the words in front of it.
• We do not accept uploaded photographs or images of people. The service takes words, and only words.

You must be 18 or over to hold a paid account. Gridwyn is offered worldwide over the public internet, and we do not operate it from, or direct it to, any country subject to comprehensive trade sanctions. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply where you are — including any local rules on what may be printed and distributed in a school setting.

If you see a page made with Gridwyn that breaches this policy, or believe content infringes your rights, email support@adeltahar.shop with enough detail to identify it. We investigate every report and reply within 1 business day, and always within 2 business days. We may suspend or end access for a breach; if we end a paid account for that reason, we refund the unused part of the period.
